Your single mom had you when she was young and made huge sacrifices to give you the best upbringing she could. As you got older, the intimacy you shared when she’d cuddle and comfort you got twisted. You began groping and dry humping her and despite the way it made her feel (which she could never admit to you or herself), mom hated herself for letting it happen and began to put walls up, believing that “tough love” would fix things. Your relationship became tense and distant, with you disrespecting her, ignoring the rules, bringing strings of girls round to your room, and mom resenting you for giving her a hard time.
